Laser Jamming Methods Available?

I've been trying to get information on laser jamming methods since my area uses tons of laser, I have heard many good things and read good reviews about Blinder, Lidatek and Escort Shifter. I read many reviews and it seems Blinder seems to be on top, but I need more information before I spend $600 on a jamming device. Is there any way I can get more information on how Blinder and Lidatek vary/compare as well as what the escort actually does when 'shifting' (Or is that just a brand name?) Any information that could help me out would be greatly appreciated :!:

Shifting is just a PC term for jamming...

The general difference is either laser diodes or LED based jammers. Laser diode jammers like the AntiLaser and Lidatek are generally smaller and more powerful than LED jammers like Blinder. The difference isn't much however. The ESCORT ZR3 "shifter" is a relatively older unit. I would go for a Blinder unit at the moment. The Lidatek is an interesting model, vastly smaller than Blinder, however I don't like the 5-sec timer. Mind you I can't drive a car with an automatic transmission either, that's just me.

If the laser diodes are more powerful, why is it Blinder can more consistently jam most laser guns compared to Lidatek and Anti-laser? :?

For one there is only one laser diode (in most of the setups) compared to two, three, four blocks of many LED's in the Blinder.

Secondly I can't say if Blinder is more consistent vs. AL or Lidatek. AntiLaser for the time being doesn't exist here anyway. I do feel confident saying the Blinder is a more consistent unit than any of the other jammers besides the Lidatek at the time being.

Blinder (a Danish product) is the big guy at the moment in the USA market.

Do you think the install cards are a good deal? <$200 for installation, most shops I seen usually charge min of $40 hour, I own a honda accord and to access most of the grill or head light removal, it requires removing the entire front bumper and headlights! :shock:
