I personally never had a situation like the test course we were on in 4 years of jammers
Living in an area where front plates are required that is the general go to aiming point so I like my install

I have shot my set up with an Ultralyte (and just yesterday with my own TruSpeed) in "real world" situations and never had the kind of PT's we got at the Northeast Test. So I'm keeping the heads as is on both my wife's 3 and my 5 series bimmers for the same reasons Rob mentioned.. (front plate area is usual aiming point/center mass shots in our area).
Again, I was surprised by the long range PT's due to that dip in the road on our test road (low mounted jammers could not "see" the gun so it could not fire and jam). But I think this is not much of a real world threat.
Why? Because I don't think most LEO's would have the patience or ability to hold a very steady aim at a particular dip in the road... just waiting and waiting and hoping for an unsuspecting driver to come along.. just hoping that vehicle also just happens to have a jammer which said patient LEO is sooooo intent on defeating. It just does not happen that way. These guys look for clear shots to take at poor jammerless souls (which is just about everyone else but us, of course )
Best,
Ed

It only takes one. And there are more bored LEOs manning guns out there than you think. ;)

Honestly I have never in all my encounters see a laser operator shot in a set-up like that and besides up north its extremely easy to get a ticket thrown out at over 1600ft in my area.
