Sure this is brutal brute force
What makes the huge splash of lignt , is it a boost from the system or
an overload of the Ccd ?
Whatever will be the results , this is the way to learn !

The system is 2 stage , the Blinder head was opened up and I tagged the trigger for the alert. what happens is the low power pulses you see in the video is the repeater portion of the blinders circuit . It does this unless it sees a series of pulses that it deems as a real threat. When that happens it flips over . fires the line to the buzzer in the car. when it does that, It pulls low a line to the square wave gent that fires the led arrays.
The little boost you are seeing when it goes into high power mode is the CCD struggling to reset white balance, But once on you are seeing the full power of the transponder.
Question (again)...
Do you plan to open source this to the forum?
Oh yes, the main part of the system will be completely Open sourced. However it will be OS to the whole world through MAKE magazine and Instructables as well
The Sub 100.00 jammer you build yourself. It will make me both the most hated and most loved at the same time. Police and the Jammer company's will hate me. But every driver is gonna love me.
On another note I will have another system that works with the base system that will be a 50.00 alternative to Veil that protects your headlights. That I hope to market and sell. as an Add-on to not only the HMLT but any laser/radar detector and any Lidar Transponder
Very cool. About your headlight coating... just make sure you don't step on any patents.
It looks like Jesus is about to climb out from under that hood.:D
I have a good guess about the headlight add on as I think I have eluded to it before but...
What is MOAC I ask...?
Doing a google search doesn't help so then I did the right thing second...
Search the site:

MOAC - Mother Of All Courses. The winding, hilly test course used by the Georgia Jammers LIDAR testing group that challenges jammer performance to the extreme limits of real world encounters. If a jammer can pass that course, it is one unbeatable set-up. Members of the Georgia Jammers are identified on the forum with this logo:
Stealth Salker, would you please be the first Mod to change Jammer for Transponder on your FAQ" ;)
