Re: Just totaled my Jetta, looking at a new TDI and want protection.
Picked up my brand spankin new TDI last night. I'm pretty happy with it.
Going to hard wire in the V1 this weeknd and make my final decisions on what way I want to go for a laser jammer.
Still not sure if I just want heads up front of if I want to protect both the front and the rear.
Thanks all,
Jeff

Congrats on the new ride!
I drive between 800-1200 miles/week and get about 18 mpg...

Congrats on the new TDI! You will be probably get around 35 mpg with combined city and highway driving, and around 38-41 mpg on the highway.

That is not bad considering how much power you car has. :driver:

The Jetta front end was made for laser jammers. The headlamps, plates and grill are all placed nicely.

I am running with a TDI Beetle and this summer planning on a new Jetta TDI...
btw, I get 40 mpg in my current TDI, and that mileage at 85 to 88 mph.
Close to 50 mpg if I drive 60 (which only happened on one trip due to heavy rain).
