Not outside, just the ends of the fibre optic cables.
Think of them as small plastic tips that could be only 5mm diameter, peering out from any nook and cranny.
Curent jammer heads are disproportionately large. Run 4 or 5 small plastic lense to anywhere on the front of your car...
Around head and fog lights, near chrome, in small gaps in normally difficult to mount grills.
I cant wait to get my hands on these....

With the heads we have tested the fiber assembly with , the answer is that this is a non destructive setup.

This is awesome! Anything that makes less alterations to my rides and it still as effective it certainly welcome.
How long do until you expect to see this hit the street?
My wife is going to kill me.:D

Actually, only about 2-3 feet per mounting point.

when fiber is $20-30 per ft plus whatever you will make on it which can add up to the system of a Li dual or m27 easy
4 points at 3 ft each 30x12=360.00 plus whatever u add to it
Re: A New System for Laser Jammers
This is insane. Installation would be a snap, like plug and play. Point the heads out and you are done.
And on top of it all, as long as it still jams the LIDAR guns, I'm in.
Re: A New System for Laser Jammers
To answer a couple questions:
1. We are doing everything we can to make this affordable. No pricing information yet, unfortunately. In the current phase it is expensive but that's only because low volume fiber is expensive. The price drops dramatically as we buy volume (think: telephone spool).
2. No firm ETA on delivery, but I'd venture to say a couple of months. Some people will be getting working units before then, but they will not be the "production" units. Category4 is first in line. :)
3. This should make any jammer system more effective since you'll be able to increase the number and location sensor points, as well as split the outputs.
4. You can leave your existing wiring in place, just move the jammer heads behind the bumper, grille, etc., attach our assemblies and route the fiber/lens to where you want to mount them (for instance, in the bottom two screw holes of your license tag frame).
