Brain surgery doesn't look that hard either, until you try it.

I'd agree that it takes someone who knows what they are doing to run a thorough test against a vehicle using LIDAR, but I fail to see how ANYONE would EVER think that brain surgery doesn't look hard - without having some form of mental disability which precludes them from thinking straight...

LOL! Steady hands, good vision, and a manual. What else would you need?
See... just like a LIDAR gun! :D

He's an organ donor!
I just caught the PG version of that on cable last night. I was surprised it still made any sense with all the language cut out. One of the best flicks ever!

You need to do the same identical, if possible, shot the LEO gave you the first time. Same hill, same distance, samd identical everything and then see how you do.

Please note that I did not touch or modify or re-aim my heads from the time I was ticketed until the testing this weekend.
We tested at about 30-60mph, straight on and from wider angles. In all of the tests so far (about 2 hours of testing) I was not able to get a single P/T on my vehicle. More testing and videos to come. I plan on getting black kidney grilles and will mount my sensors on the lower outsides of the grilles horizontally, as instructed by Laser Interceptor. Here are my first 2 videos:
This one with LI audio alert from inside the vehicle:

This entire thread has been total fiasco http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o...m/facepalm.gif
If he doesn't move those sensors he better make sure his lawyers TN is on speed-dial...lol!

Through 150 threads this has been established:
1. The install is too low. -> I will be mounting the sensors in my grilles vertically after I cut the slots.
2. The crest of the hill was the reason of the speed reading. My LI set up seems to work fine.
3. Testing should be done by someone with experience, and possibly on a tripod.
I bought this gun to help myself and help other people around me test their set ups. I'll make further purchases as I deem necessary. It's here to stay so please help me understand how to use it and become experienced with it. What defines a professional shooter? What are the 'revered' p/t methods by the pro's? post up or pm me. I'm here to contribute and learn.

Make sure to hold the gun as STILL as possible. During testing we shoot in 3 areas. Center of mass - license plate, passenger and then drivers side lights. Most of the PT's are through fog lights.
