Actually, the bubbles are the two receiving Photo-Diodes. Mounted in the yellow, they should be oriented inwards towards the CM of the
V. Mounted in the green, they should be oriented outwards towards the headlights.

Gee...just when I thought I had it figured out!
Thanks again Cliff.

Re: 2009 Cadillac CTS-V LI Install (Head Mounting)
I was playing around with my mock-up heads today, and might have actually figured out a way to mount them in the red locations, without them being the blatant eyesore I am trying to avoid, and without any cutting, drilling etc. to the car.
Cliff, the length of the new sensors that are shown as 3-1/8" long; does that length include the mounting tabs on each end? Also, my plan would require that these tabs be removed, would cutting them off have any effect on the warranty?
Thanks.

That measurement does NOT include the mounting tabs.
Cutting them off does NOT void the Warranty as long as you do not damage the waterproof integrity of the sensor itself.

Wannago,
I could choose red also but a bit lower. I would try to put these heads a bit lower on the grill where the curve starts to bend. Know what I mean? You can mount these on the outside of the grill if you had the right mounting equipment.
