Escort Laser Shifter ZR3!! I need your help!!!

I have two cars with ZR3's.

That car and that color will be tough to protect.

FWIW, One of my ZR3 cars is a close cousin of your car. It's a Magnum and the ZR3 does pretty well on it, but it's a dark color. (Also I don't think the ZR3 does anything against the new Truspeed gun.)

Bring themagnum tothe next test and see if the Zr3 reacts to the TruSpeed

Alpinestars Blinder m20( previous generation blinder before the m25) jammed the TruSpeed

thanks for the info everybody.. I think in the end Ima end up goin with the blinder with 3 or possibly 4 shirfters in the front... Do i need to worry about putting one n the back at all? and what about radar.. im assuming these dont protect me from those right??

hey also I noticed you are from sw florida.. what city are you from??

we're going to prove that the ZR3s can jam the TS this weekend :D

One LED head in the rear won't do much. Even one diode jammer head in the back isn't full protection.

One LED jammer head like the Blinder will not be enough to jam laser from the rear.

To be protected from rear laser encounters you need minumly 2 head laser diode set-up on your rear....LED jammers don't have the power to jamm from the rear.

So please put all 3 or 4 LED jammer heads up front

Now since you are looking to spend the money for a Blinder M45, (4 head) you are approaching the cost of a different jammer, the Laser Interceptor.

And if I was to choose between the Blinder M45 and the Laser Interceptor(dual head) I would spend the extra $30 for the Laser Interceptor(dual head)

As for radar these laser jammers just jam laser so you are going to have to purchase a radar detector. I personally use the V1 ($399) but I also use my Beltronic's Vector 995.($270). The Cheapest detector I would recommend is the BEL v955 ($180) If you have the money you can look at the Escort 8500 x50($300)....There is also the newer Escort 9500i ($449)

What is your overall budget you are willing to spend for laser jammer and radar detector combined?

I would rather bring my ZR4 car so I hope we can get the info from speed-dreams.

If not, I might "take one for the team" and bring the mothership.

The ZR3 does a better job of protecting my Z, but the tires on the Z only have about one more event left in them, so no road trips until I mount the new tires on her. (About a month or so)
