I have them on my BMW 740iL. (I beleive that was with the SR7 + shifters) They have saved me at least 5 times.. After reading here - i wouldn't beleive they did anything... but my own personal experience is they did quite well. I never got a ticket since I put them on - and I was painted a number of times that i needed to slow down significantly or a ticket was forthcoming...

^ The ZR3s really aren't that bad - reception is still considered to be among the better of the breed...and the ZR4 doesn't really do much, in terms of improving jamming performance, aside from being able to alert to and (with varying success) defeat the Laser Atlanta Stealth-Mode.
Depending on where you live, the hardware that you face as well as the actual enforcement trap setup, the ZR4 - or even the ZR3 - can still be a viable defensive tool.
Just know where its strengths and weaknesses may lie.![]()
