Any saves?

Just wondering if anyone has had any saves thanks to the ZR4? I'm yet to encounter LIDAR.

Earlier this year, I had a couple before I switched to LI. The guns used were either PL3s or Ultralytes. One encounter was "ambush style" (500 ft or less).

As with many others in the community, I believe that the ZR3 and ZR4 both perform admirably in the real-world, simply due to the typical LIDAR enforcement setup, as well as the typical "uncertainties" involved.

Without a doubt, the Escort jammers do not fare well in quantitative testing, and no, I would not recommend a ZR3/4 setup to anyone who lived in a known adverse-scenario (of either enforcement hardware or enforcement setup) area.

But truly, in the real world, the ZR3/4 will provide decent protection.

All 12 LIDAR saves that I have had so far, before and after I had my ZR4 installed in June, have been against the Ultralyte 100LR (NY State Police). Out of the 12, I credit about 8 saves to my ZR4. Once I figure out how to upload analog video from my ancient camcorder to youTube I will have to post some videos of my encounters...
