    I may be missing the point of the question here, but a LED is a diode (Light Emiting Diode).

    I'm sure he means laser diode.
    Answer: Probably if they release another jammer system,I'd guess it would be a laser diode.
    That is really the only way to compete with the big boys.

    Sorry about my imprecision: I meant laser diode. I really like my Bel STIR+, but I wish it would mate with Laser Interceptor.
