I type this message from Kentucky as I have been putting some extensive miles on Veil G4 on my personal vehicle against troopers of Ohio and Kentucky to gauge our improvements in the real-world over the some of the most intense traffic enforcement I have seen (this Memorial weekend).
This should be the last phase of our pre-release tests.
...We're getting very close.

One thing that amazes me is how clean of an application Bob can get out with VEIL but I have never seen anyone else besides Sethy apply VEIL so well
VEIL needs to come with a person trained to apply it as well as Bob :lol:

Beyond performance and appearance improvements, our engineering team has worked tirelessly to simplify the application for everyone (who doesn't have direct access to the Veil Guy for application :wink:).
Craig Peterson, who reviewed the Veil G2 some years ago, had commented that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't eliminate the appearance of "some streaks" (I am paraphrasing). He also commented that his halogens did indeed appear not to be as bright in their night illumination with Veil G2.
With Veil G4, his application was much easier to achieve a desired look and he has not observed the light reductions he was accustomed to with G2. Also he thought his personal ride looked more "hip."
Ultimately, you guys will determine if we've hit the mark with Veil G4.
It's very difficult to engineer effective passive stealth countermeasures and I believe that we have achieved a balance of most of the aspects of the system, that we needed to do, to justify the new generation of Veil.
I can only hope that you guys will find it appealing as we do.
A couple of days ago, we had a JTG with the new Laser Shifter ZR4 and Veil G4 on my metallic silver BMW (which is a very hard car to stealth out). I knew that it was JTG because the look on the two officers' faces as we blew by on I-480 (Ohio). There was a look of real confusion on the officer (who was showing, what must have been and E04 error code on his LTI Ultralyte to the other officer). His look was priceless...My V1 alerted the entire way.
Later today, I am turning around my rig and heading back to PA (through Ohio and Virginia), so I am hoping to hit some intense laser action on my way back home. :lol:

Veil Guy, it continues to sound great. I only hope I catch it once it goes on sale before it sells out. I would love to try it. Had another LEO today help me out in "checking" my speed for me to make sure my speedo is accurate. They seem to always be willing to help me out. Nothing personal against LEO at all, but I'm looking forward to at least keeping it exciting for them too. :wink:
I can say that appearance and performance is truly generations ahead of his last product. As for the JTG I can tell you that it happened I was there and it is on video :lol:Quote:

Where did you go in KY? The Vehicle Enforcement is very busy on the KY / Cincinnati border on 75. For the most part it's slim pickings on 64, you get a few VE guys that will run instant on, and if your lucky some laser. The Staties usually run constant on 34.7. KY is a great state, with very low traffic enforcement.Quote:

They attempted to tag me in the rear twice, unsuccessfully, I might add (from an overpass) and once from the front (JTG: Laser Shifter ZR4 + Veil G4) on the Interstate just south of Cincinnati coming north from Lexington.
The gun they used on my vehicle, from the front, appeared to be an LTI Ultralyte, handheld on the left-hand shoulder (I was in the fast lane).
I think this is the first time that I actually experienced a laser ambush from the rear.
If you ever take that road (especially in the morning during the extended rush hour) keep your eyes wide open and look over you shoulder when going under the overpasses.

BTW, I visited Louisville too, and have some nice PICs of the backstretch at Churchill Downs.
My family is in the racehorse breeding business, which allowed me to get on the premises even though there was no meet, at the time.
If you visit my blog, you'll eventually see some of those PICs and read about the experiences I had in KY...I managed to also visit Keeneland (off of 'ver~sales'), the Red Mile, and the Kentucky Horse Park...I love the Bluegrass state.

Wow thanks for the info - I have heard of the laser shots from the rear outside of town. Great that you got to see Churchill - it is a great place this time of year. I'll be ordering a new can of Veil soon as I'm going on some vacations. Thanks for the reply!

That's a really nice looking ride. I'd bet that the new violet-looking G4 will make the front look a lot cooler.

It really doesn't look "violet" on the Impala, just looks grey. Or do you mean when the headlights turn on?
It's not a pure violet, it's a grayish-violet.
You'll see what I mean when you actually apply it yourself.
