Sometimes you can pick them out but one afternoon when they were working the North Freeway it took me over five minutes to figure out where they were. BTW: You can thank assistant police chief Vicki King for this BS. It was all her idea.

Doesn't the car that stop you have to be the car that clocked you with the radar/lidar? Or can one car clock you, and then another car ticket you? Surely, LEOs have something better to do than coming up with elaborate schemes to give out more tickets.

No the officer issuing the citation just needs reason to believe you broke the law. Both officers have to appear in court though if you do choose to fight it, otherwise it's hearsay.

Just makes me want to load up my car with all sorts of countermeasures!! And I don't even speed (that much)!

Yea, I'm hella glad I don't live in Houston. It looked like they were using constant on radar from what I could see in the news report, so prolly easy to pick out the 'beat up' 'not-cop cars'

I may have to get a V-1 just b/c of these undercover cars so that I will have the directional arrows.

This new hobby is getting expensive. I just ordered a V1 today. Time to identify the undercover spotters.
