100pps in Republic of Ireland (CONFIRMED!!!)

Well got hit on the rear yesterday doing 135 in a 100, didn't know WTF was happening it was a broken tone. LPP kicked in then the V1 for a few seconds .I turned off th front jammer by mistake doh!!! so ended up jamming him for at least 10 seconds i reckon he moved onto another car.

Republic of Ireland & UK users i think its essential to get the Ultralyte 100pps upgrade from LPP as corkguykev had a 100pps jam yesterday.

Time to sort the brake relay

X2 on the Uk and Ireland users re: the LPP upgrade. i too was hit by a 100pps Ultralyte last night and i got it on video.

im pretty pi$$ed that i took down the camera after the alert but i was making sure i wouldnt get nabbed.

i went through this road the other way first so this is not a save. i saw the tripod mounted Ul and 2 cops so i did a U-turn to get this vid.

up at the end of the road around the corner nearly, there is a big white sign and they were hiding in an entrance up there to the left of that on the vid. i was most likely the last car they hit as i saw him taking the equipment apart as i passed by after making this vid. unfortunately they were gone when i went around for another pass

the LPP alerts first on a broken tone instead of its normal constant one and the V1 next which pretty much drowns it out so you have to listen quickly to hear the 100pps LPP alert at around 11 seconds in.

im planning at the moment to set up a constant running dash cam to get these things as they happen so next time hopefully i will get footage of the actual trap

sorry but i cant claim it was a save

i saw them at it so it did a u turn and set up the camera for a run but i was surprised as hell when i got the 100pps alert though

Yeah f**kin very strange. I was convinced we had 100pps LIDAR over here i was hit some months ago (pre 100pps upgrade) and the RX65 went off but the LPP stayed quiet..(I knew he was there i just wanted to test)..I raised my concerns with the guys in KMPH upgraded me to a CBox and as i have said before a pleasure to deal with and quick turn around.

So i got home and said wait until i tell corkguykev this and i check my inbox and theres an email from him ..dude we have 100pps over here!! lol

Anyhow it was a pretty good save on my way home i think it was an 80K zone and i slowed from 135 to 100 i was lasered so i was glad i didn't switch off the LPP.

. I've tested my SINGLE rear head and its a pretty good performer. The cop tried to lock me twice the V1 didn't pick up the rear until 3 or 4 seconds.

Anyways LPP saved me from having a **** night. I'm f**kin delighted with it

same here when i had my issues. they went to a lot of trouble to find the cause and eventually did. my cars power source. no problems since then
