I agree; unlike the local police that always use the same location for speed traps, PSP will use a trap once or twice and won't use it again for several months.

I wish I paid attention to this fact. Thats how I got my recent speeding ticket (doing 82 in a 55). I knew PSP used this certain speed trap location, but I haven't seen them there for months, so I was speeding and got busted. Of course I DIDN'T have a RD at the time. :cry:

Now, I bought a Vector 995, and I will never leave home without it. :D

I was driving West on Rte 76 (AKA Schuylkill X-way) a PSP car passed me on the shoulder of the road, He had 2 antennas sticking out both rear windows one was a white/grey round tube and the other was a black hexagon shaped tube. Several miles down the road near the Blue Route exit I began getting K & Ka, K was weak but the Ka was a 9 as I passed this state K became 9 and Ka was weaker, so I can only guess that he was shooting in both directions. Futher down the road I got K and X but it was coming from one of those drones. I talked to my friend who works at the KP barracks and he said that that since they are testing Ka that some of the troppers get carried away and like to shoot K & Ka either front or rear or both and that they like to "hide" in areas that have these drones. He said he likes to shoot K in one direction and Ka or X in another. He likes to hide in median strips and get you both ways

Really kind of sucks they got Ka as well now. I am assuming they are only using Ka in stationary mode and not driving??

Also, any word if they are getting laser?

PSP is only authorized to use any radar in stationary mode.

This is correct only State Police are on the Interstates unless they request help from the local police.

Thanx I am adding some channels to my scanner cause last time i drove through PA, the statie's did broadcast at all but then again i didn't see any
