Yesterday I saw there was one of HPDs new Stealth Chargers in the service lot so today after lunch my daughter and I walked down to shoot some vid of it. I think you'll get an appreciation for just how subtle the livery is.

Overall the car is not subtle at all. Pushbar, spotlight, exempt plates and blacked out wheels make it scream police car which is probably a good thing since these are classified as "marked" cars so they can initiate a pursuit.

Turned out this one was dinked, that's why it was there to get fixed. Looked to have a Stalker Ka radar on board!! I've never picked up a 34.747 from these so I need to keep a look out.

Thanks Tizzy, she'll be with me on our roadtrip to Austin next Sunday. It will be her final exam as cop car spotter. I worked on a hard wire battery feed for the camera and bought an extra eight tapes so maybe I'll have some interstate footage too.

Actually, they use this to MAKE money, lol. We have no state taxes, and not that many red light cameras either. But between speed enforcement and drug interdiction, they manage to fund themselves pretty well, for sure.
