Re: Don't speed in IL construction zones
There was one set up on I-355 southbound about a month ago. Somewhere between Ogden and Boughton if I remember correctly....
There were photo enforcement signs out (as with most construction zones in IL), one of the digital construction signs blasting C/O K, and the photo van also with C/O K.
If you're paying attention, the van isn't too hard to spot. White Chevy/Ford (can't remember), no side windows, and a large digital billboard on top of it that says "Your speed is XX".

The one I saw was on RT 88 just west of RT 83 in the westbound lanes.
This van did not have the sign on top. (I think it was there, but folded down on the roof at the time).
I'm ordering a V1 after seeing that.

Now thats just dirty! They're starting to get sneaky.
My 9500Ix picked it out just fine....I use the expert meter and have auto learn off. I knew the sign was there, but this time I got two signals so I knew something was up.
