    Default Texas Road Trip

I'm going to be taking a trip from Clovis, NM to San Antonio, TX in a little over a week. I've done this approx. 1,000 mile round trip drive before I knew much about CMs and my wife getting her first ticket in Kerr County going down a steep hill is actually what spurred my interest.

I know there are a lot of Texas forum members here, so I was wondering if anyone lives near or drives through these areas frequently and has any information on known radar/laser traps, possible small towns running X band, etc. etc. I'll be running my 9500ix and would like to mark these locations for future trips. I'm aware of Texas DPS and their QT tactics, unfortunately I have nothing to combat this ATM. Any information I can get would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

Here is the route I will be taking:

this is my rt. i take this all the time .... 84 to LBK TX DPS IO ka, LBK - laser around n.loop. KA 35.5 CO too, 84 to snyder TX DPS IO and CO 34.7 KA , now when you get to sweetwater(main DPS station) and get on 70 south there is a DPS(knichols) that likes that road (tx 151) to winters he likes to sit behind hills and use IO its rare to see him but he is there somtimes be aware... winters to ballinger nothing , in ballinger some KA locals k false by school and DPS around too... ballinger to Junction is pretty empty, DPS like to head to 87 and patrol... from junction probally just DPS , i usally go to brady and some backs rds to SA so i dont know past junction..

You'll wanna watch out for laser and KA I/O. A CB radio is probably gonna be your best bet on that long drive
