Whistler Cruisader on Yamaha R6
My buddy had a Whistler Cruisader installed on his Yamaha R6 for the SML 05 testing.
I just got off the phone with him bragging how awesome this unit is. (third time this week).
This is the first "good" detector he's owned and to say the least, he's impressed. It saved his butt 3 times yesterday alone.
Hopefully after he's used it a little bit more, I can talk him in to coming here and giving a full review of all the positives as well as the negatives.
It seems like a really nice unit. 8)
StealthR1, Any updates on the Cruisader? I would like to know more about the unit and how it is working out. I would also like to know how this unit stacks up to the top 3 detectors.

He just bought a new bike and we'll be installing the unit on that one this weekend. The results were good with his R6. After we get it installed on the Zx10r we're going to do a little informal testing our own.
We're going to compare the performance of my Escort and his Whistler by comparing when/if each of the units signals a threat while out riding. We'll have to work out how we'll do this completely unscientific comparison, but it might give ourselves an idea how each unit is performing in real world surroundings.

Sounds great, I can hardly wait... I would like to put a RD on the bike full time instead of moving from vehicle to vehicle like I do now. This unit does sound like it has a lot of nice features so I would love to hear more.

I thought I'd start a new thread for the ZX10R install here.
The weather didn't cooperate for any decent amount of testing today, but I'll post it as soon as we can get a full day's ride in.
