Why V1 not a good choice for bikes??

One thing about the V1 that bugs me is the need to add an extra headphone box from the V1 to interface to an Autocom (basically, an audio mixer and intercom). The Escort's have the jack already built-in them and when you hear the "Ding. Ka Alert" that overrides the music out of the Zumo or XM radio in the headphones you know it means business.

I use a Garmin quick release on the bottom of it and I can toss it into my pocket in the event I'm away from the bike or it begins to rain (and I'm not speeding in the rain!).
