Default Your car insurance dollars hard at work

Thanks to insurance companies like Geico and State Farm laser guns are spreading. Just another reflection of what the real motivation behind issuing speeding tickets is all about for insurance companies and law enforcement agencies.

Rather than just being pointed out the window of a patrol car, the new compact and lighter device can even be used by police on bicycle patrol.

"The ProLaser 3 has rechargeable batteries and because bike patrol doesn't have batteries on their bicycles, now they can go out and use speed control on their bikes," Chief Anderson said.
Wow, I can just see it now...them cops peddling like heck to catch a speeder

They approach the car and their legs are all shakey and they're like "Do you know how fast you were going" and between each word, they're taking quick, deep breaths trying to catch their breath. hahahaha And then they collapse right there.

Sorry, it's just a funny image to me.

wow, I currently have my car insured with State Farm. I cam calling my agent on monday to inquire about this policy to see if he can explain a logical reason for this. If I hear safety or seatbelt I'm dropping my policy on the spot.

Atleast they bought prolaser III the worst of them all. Wow, lets give a 5K grant to the local PD so they can write 200 tickets in 3 hours, we start raising the insurance premium for all of our memebers and we not only recover the 5K but make about 20K in the process. This is BS to the max and it pisses me off big time!

    I'm glad I don't have State Farm, and I wouldn't touch Geico with a 39 1/2 foot pole.

What a racket... give away laser guns to the police so they can issue more tickets and raise more policyholders' premiums, gov't and ins. co. both win, consumers lose.

It's a good thing we have great companies like Radarbusters, Valentine, Escort, Blinder etc. to give us an edge.

Oh yeah, while you can likely outrun the bike patrol, you can't outrun the radio... better put on an extra coat of Veil and polish those Blinders and Lidatek transponders.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Geico normally will not insure drivers with radar detectors. Now you'll have to sell yours :P . Don't worry we won't tell!
