Bel changes Sti claims on their website
Apparently the Belscort people also read this forum.
They have removed the claim that the Sti will be undetectable by future technology from their website.
However, they still have links to their advertisements which do make the claim that the Sti's are undetectable by current and future technology.
Note to Bel: I've downloaded and saved the ads so I can repost them here (and everywhere else I can find) should you remove them from your webpage as well.

Well its very apparent that they read this forum (a lot)... and has been for a while, you should have seen what they did when someone posted a link to the STi page (pre-release), within an hour or two they had the page down.
To bad they don't listen to us when we say: WE WANT BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I think that they should do that... as they dont know what the future will bring, and the fact that they advertise(d) that, it could be considered false advertising on their part (if somehow something in the future can actually detect them constantly without detecting everything else in the world).

That is exactly the point. Trying to detect a frequency which is very common is a losing proposition as a cost effective means of finding RD's. Maybe if you live in the tundra doing this is a reasonable expenditure of time and effort for the police. For anywhere else it is most likely useless. Aside from the various devices assigned to this frequency you have all the harmonics from other devices probably floating around.
Of all the things you need to worry about I wouldn't put this anywhere near the top of the list. Should Beltronics fix it? Yes but it is not the end of the world as some seem to think.
