weird noise on my whistler 1733

hey guys yesterday i was driving down the road and suddnely i got weird aler

it was on X band and it dindt beep at all. it made like splashing sounds.......

is this pop? pulse?

and what are they. and how are they differnet then regular beepings

Haha, sorry. "Splashing" sounds :?:

I'm afraid I think I haven't heard any of those yet. And POP is supposed to be alerted as any regular K or Ka alert. If it was Pulse, I think it would be displayed "PULSE" or "P"... can't remember whether the 1733 has a text display or not.

The 1733 does not have a text display...it has what they call an ICON display. From what I know, the 1733 does not pick up POP mode. Instant-on is registered as a full alert, with a 3-second audio alert.
