Oh the decisions

Well, I need to send in my V1 to get the software upgrade. In the meantime, I will get another RD to use and then transfer that one over to my wife's car. The question is....... Should I get another V1 or try the Bel RX-65? I like the idea of knowing the frequency and the other little bells and whistles of the Bel, but have grown to totally trust my V1. Maybe it's just the wanting to try something else out. Also, does Bel offer anything similar to the V1 remote display? I got the Lifespeed mod on mine, and totally love it. No more squinting up at the detector, and the stealth at night is great. I probably should just do another V1, but I like the idea of trying something else. I will also be adding either a LPP or the new Blinder or whatever the new jammer is coming out. I don't think I'll go wrong either way, anyone have any thoughts?

I always like going with another style of detector, I would say try the RX-65 if you haven't yet...

I think your wife will like it a bit more (its much more user-friendly IMO)... and 'falses' less also, if its going to be her DD detector.


Call up Roy and give it a try.



(With that said... if your a die-hard V1 fan, you are bound to complain about the lack of arrows on the Bel, and also [the second school of thought here]: You like the V1 so keep going with what you like!)...



All I will say is keep an open mind if you do decide on the Bel.

And also just to point out here it is a good idea never to trust your RD 100% because you may just get let down one day or something may happen to it and you will just literally stroll right into a trap. Always use your eyes and common sense along with your RD!
