Safe for paint?
Will veil damage my paint? My car is a metallic pewter/lead color and I dont have a front plate, and do have retractable headlights, but was hoping to mask some of the "light colored car" effect. Im assuming veil is clear. Is this ok for my paint?

hasn't ruinned my silver paint just wipe it off before it dries
-
but i want to use it to mask the painted areas. I should wipe it off? Wouldent that defeat the purpose of applying it? Or am i missing something...............
-
Don't put it on painted areas...it's not designed for that...VEIL is deigned for lights and licence plate...it's not ment as a paint The instructions say to apply to headlights and turn signal indicators and use a a plate cover with VEIL for you plate

Humm, sounds like if i dont have any headlights or license plate, then it is pretty useless. I saw the testing videos posted that showed a C4 corvette with NOTHING, get all the way up to 300 ft before it got a reading. But it was black, and mine is silver. Im wondering just how much a difference the color makes.

i was also wanting to put some on my paint
microsuck you can put on your headlights, that could be a target point at night
-
VEIL is not ment for the paint and it will discolor it when applied instead guy go with a black leather bra
-
Which will quickly eat the paint if it isn't properly maintained.

VEIL Guy says to stay tuned for a solution to your problem. rumors and speculation hint at maybe a wash or wax that will help.
with no plate and no lights VEIL is really no use for you. but if your lights flip up, go ahead and treat them for night-time protection.
