Now to the story. I was going down the highway with my Bel Rx65 on HWY KA USA mode, and it started to beep and then stopped. Since this area has never given me a false KA I slowed down. Again it beeped a couple of times and went off. In the distance I could see the hill and was sure that was were the LEO was at. My RD continued the off and on beeps while 2 cars one with a V1 and I think one with a Cobra RD passed me going very fast. Again my RD continued with the alarms. I wondered if my detector was falsing since the V1 was apparently not picking up this fairly regular off and on signal. (The cobra did not suprise me). Then all of the sudden the 2 cars that passed me approched the top of that hill and guess what...yup the breaklights came on and the back end of both cards went up in the air in panic.
Not sure the distance, but the most impressive thing is that it was over the hill, and the LEO was facing away from the hill away from our direction. As soon as I topped the hill (going 5 miles under the PSL) my RD went nuts. Then a little later behind me he pulls someone over.
Anyway this was my first LEO for this RX65, and I was impressed. I hope it keeps up the good work.
Also some complained about the ramp up on the RX65 and Bels in general. Mine seems to do just fine. Maybe V. 6.3 helped???
