Ku band on 95 in Miami

My RX65 picked up a Ku band on the 95-north bound about a mile before the 826. It happened on Tuseday and Wednesday(April 24th and 25th) pretty much at the same location, I think it was only a single bar reading.

Won't drive by again until Friday, I'll report if it picks up again...

I had the same thing happen here in Rochester, same spot too about 4 or 5 times. But now its gone.

Wouldn't that put you about 3 miles from Miami International? Airports have such powerful radar systems that all bets are off as far as the RX65 or any detector goes.

ya there is no ku in the u.s

I guess the airport radar theory is plausible...

Nice to test out ku band for fun once in a while. I picked up 2 ku band falses last weekend while in Kalamazoo MI.
