Ka working?

ok i bought this thing 3 weeks ago been driving around everywhere with it i get K beeps all around thats normal, but never Ka. i see cops all the time but never gives off a Ka signal.. is something wrong with my V1? the only time i got a Ka was once for about 2 seconds and thats about it. i have X off pop off and Ka more sens. i live in Denver and im going to make a move to cali at the end of the month i just want to make sure this thing is working before i head out for cali.

im sure its working just fine, you just havent ran into a leo using Ka, its a radar detector not a cop detector, if they dont have their radar on then u wont get a signal, im sure in due time u will have your fair share of stories to tell, and welcome to the board.
