A Escort 8500 X50 and a 8500? And what is the difference?
Thank you.

The 8500 came out first with red lights and then came the 8500 X50.
The X50 has POP protection with red or blue lights and better range supposedly.

Go to the second question from the bottom and they answer it here.

Laser detection is not extremely useful because it detects your speed in less than a second and you cannot slow down in time.Quote:

On the roads I drive mostly, it works fine with laser detection because there is always other traffic. The cops go mad if their laser gun is jammed so a jammer is not an option for me. Big ticket and the jammer goes to the cops evidence room :( But a detector is worth the investment :)Quote:

Look how much they sell for on sites in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and many other places and that should tell you something.
The V1 will cost you $400 but it is money well spent and invested. :D
About $250 over my budget :(Quote:
