Cobra Trapshooter 3 Band Radar Detector Stealth Wideband
Hi, I have just got a detector from my dad (one of his many old ones) a Cobra Trapshooter 3 band Stealth Wideband - RD-302 and I don't have a manual or instructions on how to work it..etc
I was just wondering if anyone here has or had one, and has anyone got any information you can pass on to me about it...Any sites or information would be of great use..
It has 2 lights on the front, one on the left which is the alarm and one on the right which is for the power. It has a slide switch on the right on top that says city and a mute button on the left on the top. On the left hand side it has a on/off switch which also controls the volume.
It has a sticker on the top that says:
-- Complete Coverage of all Radar Signals
-- Laser Adaptable
-- Cobra STEALTH V C O System
-- HyperSweep Technology
--Alarm Tone for Each Band
If anyone can tell me anything about and about how old it is and it is still worth using these days. I guess what I'm asking is IS IT GOING TO WORK, or is it to old to mess with.
Any and All help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

The earliest Cobra that I am aware of was their RD-4000 which was a clone of the original Escort in terms of general appearance and features. It only detected X and K bands.
So far this one has been working pretty good as long as it is a constant signal. Other than that it will have to do for a while.
In your opinion which radar detector is that best right now on the market?
Jeff
