A couple of times a week when I use my Viper remote to open my doors, my X50 will alert Laser.
It took me a while to figure out it was the culprit, but asides a LEO standing down my street, waiting for me to get in the car several times a week ;), it has to be the Viper.
It is a 791XV and has the code hopping feature. Just wondering if anyone has heard of this before?
Is this the alarm with the pager?
If you mean it lets me know if someone tampers with the car, then yes.

From my understanding, your X50 goes off when you unlock or lock your car, or when using your viper remote?
The pager of those remotes send an FM transmission so I don't see how they would give you a laser alert, however if you lock/unlock/remote start your car. The LED light on your dash or where ever it is located at will blink, which may cause your X50 to go off. Other then that, it may be a false start in the wiring somewhere.
It`s actually when remote starting the car. I usually hit unlock right after, but I confirmed it`s when starting the car. It`s also not all the time. It seems to do it a couple mornings in a row, then doesn`t for a while.
That`s why I thought it may have to do with the code hopping.
If its alerting to laser I would think it would have to be an LED or something of that kind of sort...
