Rubbing off my license plate numbers
I just got brand new CA plates. The plates are white with dark blue numbers.
Now. I just used ultra fine sandpaper to rub off one of the numbers. I'm about to douse it in Photoblocker and here is my question:
Will the photoblocker work better with dulled numbers (which are still legal :) ) ? It shoudl make it harder for the camera to read if thier is less contrast right?

Photoblocker doesn't work during the day, even if the camera does use a flash. Your best bet is using the best radar detector and gps detector money can buy. Sprays no longer work against the new cameras. Sorry.

Dulled numbers is not legal;

California Vehicle Code
4464. No person shall display upon a vehicle a license plate
altered from its original markings.
This is the same Vehicle Code that makes 'restoration' of license plates illegal.
