LEO on median and traffic direction
If the cop car is parked horizontally on the median with the front end facing the southbound traffic, does it mean the LEO is only interested busting speeders traveling southbound but not the opposite northbound traffic? Or the LEO can catch speeders in both directions? Thanks!

Also, on a straight highway, when is it safe to speed again after I passed the LEO on the median?
Thanks!
No...
If the car is equiped with a installed radar unit, the car could have an antenna in the front, rear or both.
If the officer is using a hand held gun he could be shooting forward, or could turn it around and shoot to the rear.
How far is it safe? Never, there could be another officer ahead.
Never think for a moment because you saw one officer that there are no more in the area. Keep alert!
