Custom Installers in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Hello All:

I just purchased the following for my 2006 Chevy Silverado Z71 Crew Cab.

1 V1 Radar Detector
1 Concealed Display
1 Remote Audio Adapter
2 LPP Dual Head Laser Jammers
2 Cheetah Wireless Kits

I am looking for a custom installer to set this all up. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also I saw some Rear View mirrors that had the detector built inside. Is this something that can be done with an OnStar mirror?

I live in the DFW area too and I am also looking for someone to do a custom job for my car. I was thinking maybe car toys could do something like that. Otherwise I am not sure. If you find out please let me know.

And where exactly do you live in the DFW area?

I live in the DFW (DFW air port south) area too and I am also looking for someone to do a custom job for my car.

looks like i should come setup shop in the dfw area for a few days...lol

I just recently purchased an SR-7 setup and installation from Earmark Car Audio (in Plano): http://www.earmarkcaraudio.com/locations_default.asp

Their head installer (Chris I believe?) is a good guy. You can call them up to ask about custom installations and placements. I told them I would like to get a V1 stealth mounted sometime after I get my LI installed and they were willing to work with me once I had the hardware.

I spoke to Mason in the store.

You have to know a lot about the cars to do installs. I know for my car, I had to totally take out my rear seat, find a hole in the rear firewall (trunk isn't attached to cabin), find a hole in my regular firewall, and navigate all the wires from the passenger side to the drivers side under the console. My whole install for my SR7 took about 5 hours over 2 days.

I will probably go and check out that earmark place. I wanted to get something done like REBinc. If you only lived in Dallas REBinc.....

Hope it comes out well. If not there are some other places in Irving and stuff. I got a list of recommendations from my Lexus dealer.
