For those who are Blinder Haters, I would appreciate you keeping your comments to yourself.. Now I know thats hard for some of you, but I think you can handle it. I want to say that the New Blinder M-25 and M-45 Laser jammers is one of the best jammers on the market. Blinder has been in business for over 10 years and has made a high quality LED jammer for serious driving enthusiest. So for anyone new to the Laser Jammer Market, who is interested in learning about Blinder Xtreme Series jammers, please ask away! I would also like to add that anyone with real world stories about their Blinder saving them from a laser speed trap, I would love to here them. Just remember I'm here to answer questions regarding Blinder only. I do know alittle about radar detectors also. So if that also pops up, I can help.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
from the time of this post.
I drive a white supped up ford focus... well I was driving down a long stretch of bridge in pinnellas county... called the bayside bridge for those of you familiar with the area. about half way across it.. I come to the rear of a semi truck, so to pass it, I change lanes to my right, dropped into 3rd and gunned it... by the time I get to 5th (going about 75 now in a 55) I reach the peak of a small hill on the bridge, My jammer starts screaming, while my radar detetector simultaneously goes off alerting me of Laser....
Low and behold, there is a state trooper on a motorcycle targeting me... now this is the first time my blinder has been tested since installation, which was about 3 months ago, so I was kind of surprised and really didn't know how to react... so I slowed down... but I forgot to turn the blinder off lol...
It kept screaming, all the way till I was right on top of him, and I notice the cop is looking at me... so I can only assume I jammed to gun... I was nervous because I didn't want him coming after me, because cops down here are allowed to "guesstimate" someone's speed, and it holds up in court... but he didn't come after me at all!
THANKS BLINDER!!!!!

Re: Test Report On Blinder xtreme M40
Welcome back, stegall1000 - I, too, am glad that you didn't leave.
I was super-busy when you'd posted your "I'm checking out" thread, and unfortuantely was unable to respond properly  -> truly, I don't think you should be dissuaded from the negativity that can often exist here - and instead should put on your thickest skin (as well as most flame-proof suit), and work to set things right with both the enthusiast community here, as well as to help Blinder overcome the reputation that it had received since the presentation of the M45/35/25 units, and its subsequent testing from the independent (to say nothing of the suspect) tests from hobbyist members.
Also it's important for the customers to have someone they can talk to, directly, about the product, and in so much as this is, after all, a devoted Blinder sub-Forum, I think that kind of support should definitely be in-place.

Just a friendly word - this Forum may not be the best place to bring up SML results.....
Also, careful here - this is for the now defunct 0-suffix (40/30/20) units. The performance of the 0-suffix units was never regarded as being problematic.
Limitations? Certainly - all of the LED-based jammers shared similar issues.
However, it is the performance of the new 5-suffix units (45/35/25) that's being contested, and it would do well to focus on this aspect, instead of revisiting the issue with the 0-suffix units, particularly in light of the fact that more than a handful of enthusiast here contest that the performance of the 5-suffix units was, specifically, inferior overall to that of the 0-suffix units.
