Updates to Plano, TX

It looks like our LEOs have figured out how to use I/O Ka, and they're now running LIDAR on more than Thursdays.

The only one I've caught on the radio is Tom 60 (T60). Normally Plano gives radio codes based on their beats (Adam, Baker, Charlie, David), but I've caught a few new radio names as well: Yankie, X-ray, Tom, Paul and Ivan.

If anyone can figure out what they are for I'd love to know.

They also have Motorcycle units which use the Mary radio name.

Mr. T60 has pulled over 5 motorists in two hours. (He's sitting on South-bound 75 access road between Spring Creek and Park)

That "T" designation might be for traffic units?

i work at parker and 75 and noticed there seems to always be a leo under the bridge on springcreek and 75 shooting ka and watching fo redlight runners

The Spring Creek guy is a sneaky one. He'll sit in the center-most lane either side and run KA.

My favorite sneaky tactic are the guys running along Alma near Legacy. They are now doing I/O or short-burst KA, and it is killer.

I get shot with either Ka or laser every morning on the service road either direction in Plano between Spring Creek and Parker. After seeing this post I fired up the cam and recorded the ka I got.

Jesus! I thought he was pacing you or something the way it just kept going on and on and on!

Well with arrows you always know where they are. But my laptop was blocking the rear of the V1 so I started wondering if he was behind me. I am going to upload this later in better quality.
