Vector 940 laser detection problem

Hello.
i have a new bell vector 940 from circuitcity.
Never have a problems against K, or Ka band in california, but never try with laser, only false alarms in highway.
Now i come back to my country Chile, and i test with atrafic patrol Xr,
Also i have a old radio sharck Rd, (is almost 11 years old)
I test 4 time and put the bell in diferent position, down ,up ,center.
I never leasing any alert of laser, and my old radio shack alert me all the time with laser,Somethings alert 3 or 4 time.
And the bell doesn't alert Any time.
Some experience with the vector 940 against trafic patrol Xr?
I waiting until install my blinder m25 and check if the bell alert with the blinder.
If not alert I will call to belltronics

I can't help you with the 940 question. Sorry.

But do you know what version of the Blinder M25 you have? Is it J15 or J16? The J15 has some notable problems jamming the Traffipatrol XR, so I would not get to confident with that. If you have the J16, I know there were some improvements done, but not sure if it affects the Traffipatrol XR performance. You should check with Blinder Dude in the Blinder forum here to make sure before you assume that you are covered. Good luck!

The BEL is an otherwise good detector. If you have a Blinder, and the radar detection is working fine, I don't see any reason to get rid of it for a V1, unless you just are looking to trade up to the other features the V1 offers. You don't need laser detection if your Blinder is working fine.

Radar Detector Tests and Reviews by Guys of LIDAR

Bel makes special European/overseas versions of their radar detectors. These overseas models are optimized for use in the specific countries or regions where they are sold.

I don't think the v940 will alert to the traffic patrol, maybe the frequency is different and because it is not sold in the USA, there is no reason for beltronics to build a RD that will pick it up.

With my last radar detector, the bel expres 936 never have a problem detec the laser.
Tomorrow i will call to beltronics to check if this model detec this laser gun

Bell vector 940 NO LASER ALERT(also alert with K band),blinder and Old radio Shack Alert
I thinks my vector has a problem with laser detection, i try 3 times in diferent places.
