Programming Clarification
Since I just got my V1, ive been playing around with it and have got everything down except for one thing. # "5" is a program that allows the Ka response to increase faster? quicker?
Now I havent experience a Ka yet on the road, so I dont know exactly how its gonna differ from the factory settings. Can someone please elaborate on this feature? If there is a video(s) out there that have the two variations, please feel free to post them up.

I changed # 5 to ON and my Ka detection is awesome.

it would be just as awesome with it off, though. it's just the ramp-up of the alert.

As others stated, it only affects the way an alert is displayed -- roughly speaking it doubles or triples the number of dots displayed for an alert. A linear 30-second ramp-up would instead peg at full within the first 5 seconds. It's useful when you need Ka band to overpower in an area with dense K-band and X-band noise.

Yet I still get one dot Ka alerts, Picked up Ka a tenth a mile sooner than a V1 in A mode in front of me (who happened to be my rabbit, I braked before the hill crest he braked just after, the trooper was running moving C/O in oncoming traffic), and have an increase in detecting Cobras and increase in J out frequency. As it's all been word of mouth, I do wonder if how it's programmed has changed over time.
