9500ix audio ramp-up question

I got a 9500ix today with a build date of 3508. I went to escorts website and downloaded the latest camera location database and also latest firmware update. My question is by downloading the latest firmware update does this fix the audio ram-up issues I have read about, or will I have to send it to escort for a ramp-up fix like I did with my STI?

There has only been one rampup for the 9500ix. The rampup problems and subsequent fix you've heard about were only on the 9500i.

Thanks DJ, I was worried I would have to send it in and wait for a return.

No problem. Even if there was a rampup fix, it could be done via Escort's software. The 9500i's rampup fix can be done without sending it in now.
