Future Plan Opinions...

okay so right now all i had is a 9500i.

here are my plans though but i need some help.

no matter what im going to put veil on, so all i have to do is just go buy it.

in an ideal situation id like to have a 9500ci, an LI 4-head system, and a V1.

However, I dont have $3k+ lying around. So... here is what I was thinking. Add Veil, and a NavAlert system for now. Then, since i already have a V1, hard wire that when I get a 9500ci and sell the NavAlert and 9500i. I only want the V1 for highway driving because I hate how noisy it is around town. I figured that since the 9500ci has the ZR4s, which arent great but can hold me over until I add the LI's.

If anyone has any suggestions, please chime in. They don't have to include any or all of the above equipment.

If it matters I drive a white BMW 335 sedan. I know a lot of people talk about the chrome grille on the front of BMW's but mine is matte black. Also, since I live in FL i dont run a front plate. Starting June 1 I am going to be driving back and forth between Jacksonville and Naples [About 700 miles round trip] almost every week for 2.5 months and FHP is ruthless. So I want to be prepared. My car already has navigation from the factory but I do have a TomTom unit that I could get hardwired for the sake of Trapster. I tried installing the POI's but I have a Mac and I can't figure it out. Any help from other Mac/Trapster Owners would be greatly appreciated.

I like the plan. The ZR4s + Veil will probably do a decent job on that car until you can save up for the LIs. The only problem I see is that the ZR4s will not protect the rear of your car well enough. For that reason I might go LI, then 9500ci.

ya, i have a mac too...and i have trapster on my garmin nuvi...but the trick i used was my gf's dell...

i think im just going to have to borrow my dads dell to do it. dj, about the rear, if i get the LI's first will i be alright without the 3rd jammer [the rear zr4 head]? oh and when i do get the LI's do i need the zr4 rear and the 2 extra LI heads? or will i be ok with a 2 head LI

Each situation might be different, but on my rear of my car, my LIs + my ZR4s do not show any better performance, than my LIs do by themselves. I do however like the rear ZR4 sensor for directional sensing. The LIs do not tell you whether the threat is to the front or to the rear of the vehicle, but the 9500ci does.
