Atlanta Jammerfest 3 Results
Atlanta Jammerfest 3 - Google Docs
First we would like to thank Stealth Stalker for being so gracious in allowing us to use his LR-B. Also thank Jaykog for compiling the results into a nice spreadsheet for your viewing pleasure. Please note m6 and corvette used both LI and ZR4 simultaneously during the test. The clk500 (my car) the left LI head was a little off. We also observed cars which are equipped with xenon (HID) lights when activated made a difference in jamming efficiency resulting in lower PT numbers. However, stock halogen lighting systems made no noticeable difference. Also look at the difference between the modified zr4 vs the stock zr4 on Mem-Tek's car. Also refer to this for the test course we used and most of the car setups. Once we got done with the extreme test site we relocated to a flatter place for additional testing.

Rsatmans is unbelievably good at targeting a laser gun. He has a real knack for it which blows me away. The laser guns at all times were set atop a tripod. Here is a good example of just how good Rsatmans is:
I tried shooting a laser gun, braced atop a tripod, at the back of one of the test cars with LI's on the rear. I aimed carefully, kept the crosshairs on the rear of the cars at all times, yet it was JFG. We immediately did the same test again but with Rsatmans shooting the laser gun. He got two or three PTs as I recall. Now, I have perfect eyesight, but I am nowhere as steady as Rsatmans is with a laser gun. I simply walked away -- amazed.

I would want my money back if I bought a LI.
Doesnt it say on the 1st line on the box that the LI "jams all known and unknown lidar devices"?
What the cracker jack box should say is that the LI has trouble jamming police lidar in order to save you from a ticket.
Im not hating...Im just going by what tests have occured on this site from true independent testers because Im still in the hunt for the best jammer for me.

Re: Atlanta Jammerfest 3 Results
The best jammers are ones which are properly installed in ideal locations, which throw the least number of jam/error codes on lidar guns, and which give you enough performance so that you can slow down before you are clocked.
Thats my two cents. :)

Technically it says "jamnes" :D

I have no doubt that the LI is the best jammer on the market. I've tested the s**t out of mine and they perform excellently. I was also at the last GOL and they were clearly better than everything else there.
Re: Atlanta Jammerfest 3 Results
I understand jammer location is very imporant but with the past GOL tests and other tests that had the LI ranked #1, then seeing recent independent testers conducting some really good tests but getting very different and poor results of the LI when tested. I can understand if there was some subtle variation's of the PT's from the LI but the GOL and other past testers got mostly JTG's but when other testers did testing they were getting PT's on the LI shortly after the car started driving. I dont see any constistency with the LI anymore.
Putting padding in flame suit on right now....
Re: Atlanta Jammerfest 3 Results
The Altanta Jammerfest resuts, when the cars were either driving away from the laser guns or were very close to the laser guns, at those points the laser guns were shooting fairly off-axis and at very close range. That is why you see a bunch of 150 to 250 feet punch throughs since these were extreme conditions. Rsatmans deliberately set up for extreme testing. All listed PT distances were momentary PTs unless noted with a dash between two distances to indicate any continuous PTs between beginning and end PT ranges.
Not mentioned is that I also tested my laser gun simulator on several cars. Since my laser gun simulator's frequency is variable, all of the jammers alerted to all known laser gun frequencies, but the LI's consistently voice alerted that they were detecting unknown laser guns. This was simply a matter of my laser gun simulator not recreating the exact pulse width which the LI was expecting to see, even though my simulator was producing the correct pulse frequency.
EDIT: Also, consider all Atlanta Jammerfest results beyond approximately 1200 feet to be merely "interesting" since at and beyond that point all vehicles were on a sharp downward curve as they either approached or left the main test course.

The LIs at GOL were JTG everything. They clearly outperformed everything there. But, they were positioned and properly leveled just before they were tested. Whatever results that are obtained on people's personal vehicles can vary based upon many things, but I'd be willing to bet that some of these cars do not have them properly mounted and leveled. Mine are perfectly level and are basically JTFG against everything.

This is not the issue at all djrams. Every car ecpecept mine had perfectly level and straight heads. The ture factor is our course is extremely hard, it is not this flat nonsense that every one else tests on. Please refer to the last test for pictures. Let's face it every other group tests on a long straight road but how many times in the real world do you see that. The fact is you probably won't see it. If you truly claim to be the stealthiest I CHALLENGE you to come to Georgia so we can put that myth to rest when i get massive PT. :D

Jammers have it's limitations...
