RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
I have seen that on the RX65 pro you can turn on the KA Narrow band in International mode.
Now , on the manual of the RX65E I have seen something like :
KA N1 , KA N2 , KA N3 , KA N4
Is there any actual difference between the KA Narrow INTL and the 4 settings on the E model ?
Re: RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
The 65e is made for the European market, with its narrow bands tuned to perform better against low power radars in use there.
Re: RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
Yes , I live in Europe but I am running with an RX65.
In my manual there is nothing about the KA Narrow N1 .. N4 individual adjustments but I can see on a manual for the RX65E the following settings :
If you are on narrowband Ka Narrow You can independently activate 4 Ka-band segments:
Ka N1 - segment 34GHz
Ka N2 - segment 34,3GHz
Ka N3 - segment 34,7GHz
Ka N4 - segment 35,5GHz
-----------------
Which settings I can't find on my unit nor in the manual.
Re: RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
In RX-65 settings Ka Int = SuperWide Ka, and Ka USA = 33.8 GHz, 34.7 GHz, 35.5 GHz. In USA mode RX-65 only has to scan the 3 main frequencies used in the USA, instead of the whole 2.6 GHz wide Ka band. There's no narrowband Ka selection, unless it is RX-65E.
Re: RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
If I could add to the debate being another RX65 (non-e) user in europe, I understand that the RX65e is tuned different also in K band.
Is this so?
Re: RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
It is tuned in K-pulse band which means that it detects pulse radars like Iskra, Radis, Kris P produced by Simicon and used in Eastern Europe (Lativia, Poland etc.). Only the latest version of 6.5 does detect Iskra. I don't know if it was tuned in non-pulse K-band. USA version of RX65 doesn't see pulse radars:/

Which radars are used in your country??
The RX65 fails completely on Ka-Band! On K-Band there isn't really a difference to other models.
The RX65e ist made for Europe frequencies and works very well!
Re: RX 65E / RX65 difference or bs ?
rx65e is an european version of rx65. if ramer 7, ramet ad9 or multanova is used in your country you have to use this version since rx65 (us version) will give you very little protection against these low powered radars (if any at all).. a big no no in europe

Btw do you know why there are two versions of AD9?
34,3 GHz and 34,0 GHz
Is there also a difference of detection between these two versions??

I live in Denmark and I prchased an used RX65 with firmware 6.3 ...which I guess I'll have to sell again and buy the X50 Euro or RX 65 Euro wich can catch the Iskra or the Valentine 1 which I understand it catches Iskra also. Am I right ?
