new zealand and the new k band cameras
well finally found a new k camera to test the returned/tested& checked sti.
Pi ss poor was on top of it when it went off,and sadly the v1 was no better.
Waste of time having k switched on for all the falses.
Must say that the v1 in A mode still has less falses than the sti:(

My sentiments exactly. Just keep your eyes peeled. We should note down the areas where they are parked.
1. Just north of the Harbour Bride after Onewa Road on-ramp.
2. Southern motorway in the bushes about 1km away from Papakura off-ramp.
On a side note - they are using laser a lot more now too. I have had 3 hits in the last couple of weeks.
Re: new zealand and the new k band cameras
have you got a laser jammer? i got hit 6 times today by them stalker radars i think its a clamp down
Re: new zealand and the new k band cameras
Yep i noticed that they are using alot more laser too.And also they dont seem to keep the stalker ka 34.7 on constant any more, only some true police cars do but not the traffic cars
most mornings they sit on the mway going west(laser) I see them as Im going east towards the city.
have not seen any ka cameras since the new k came in,maybe the moved them south
Camera I came across was about 1 km past the manurewa onramp heading to papakura
COME ON RD MAKERS FIND A SOLUTION TO LOW OUTPUT 24.100 K BAND
Re: new zealand and the new k band cameras
have an older 04 m20 extreme on the bike but most miles done in work car during the day
Re: new zealand and the new k band cameras
yep they use ka 34.7 using instant on most of the time now its making radar detectors all most useless. i seen a cop on the side of the road in the dark it was a marked 2009 holden commodore i was like oh here we go instant on i slowed down age's ago then my escort 8500 x50 goes off Ka ban 34.739 i have it like that so i know what are the false ka alerts and what ones aren't false like peoples cheap ass radar detectors, im there are out there trying to get us hard this time of year
Re: new zealand and the new k band cameras
lucky i haven't came across any k ban speed camera vans around my ways not sure if my will even pick them up if v1 has a hard time then mine will have an even harder time.
the best cop detector ever invented your eyes
