Re: Why is my m27 falsing?
Uh oh, i hope this isn't a "bug" on the horizon..
Re: Why is my m27 falsing?
my j16's do it alot when u get to close in sun behind certian cars or vans on sunnys days here in tx or my strobes on in the dark next to a ref. sign, plate, brinks, and all infinitis suv's w night vision coming at you... i got lock em up and wait look around then either its laser or false,,,, so i know for sure when my RD goes off at same time
Re: Why is my m27 falsing?
I was worried if the new Blinder's extra sensitivity would come with come at the expense of extra false alerts.
Re: Why is my m27 falsing?
Mine went off today while I was driving through town. I didn't see a LEO, but it's possible one was hiding somewhere. My RD didn't pick it up, but that wouldn't be a surprise either way.
Re: Why is my m27 falsing?
I will check on this for everyone. Something to try is reprogram the unit into USA mode because of less guns in that mode.It only has guns used in the US so filter is tighter....I was told by Denmark that the USA mode would false less than than the European mode...But I will ask about it today!
Tom I know your is in USA mode because I programmed it that way.
Re: Why is my m27 falsing?
Mine is in USA mode. I didn't know that blinder upped the sensitivity, I don't see why they would do that- I mean doesn't it only need to detect laser when you are being shot? The m-20 series didnt false and alerted beautifully

Upping the sensitivity gives the Blinder a larger coverage radius. The M27 I shot the other day had noticably better coverage than previous Blinder versions I've shot at before. If the car I shot at the other day had an M20 on it instead of a M27, I would have been able to drill the corner of the headlights and get easy PTs.

Is the radius still 18 inches?
