Noob Upgrade Question: Please Help

I just know my serial # 6750210729 ... Its v1.8 (that's what it says on the Valentine site if I want to upgrade). Is there anyway to tell what software version I'm running. I've never upgraded and bought it April of 2004. I know it doesn't have POP.

I want to know if I should finally send it in for an upgrade, and if so, which version to ask for (or is the latest version the best now)?

I think they'll upgrade it to the new version, which currently is 3.872, not sure you can ask for a particular older release. I've only had mine a few weeks, but I'm impressed with it. From reading comments it seems like longtime V1 owners are happy with 3.872 also.

V1 3.872 is doing a great job finding LEOs ...:D
