It seems to me that this small plastic post is helping my laser caption , can some people test it and give your findings .
I tested it with tv remote and the optical signal is well transmited .

If it helps in gathering the signal, you must have the most sensitive laser detector in the world :lol: 8)
it is a post that we use for hooking our jewelry on the racks . I bent it and just stick it with hot glue. It is made of acrylic and according to flitservice it is a very good conductor of infrared in the spectrum concerned. :roll:

Why do you have it over the radar horn and not the laser sensor?
I thought the black lens was for radar and the red spot below "Laser" and to the left of the Ka and K LEDs was the rear laser sensor?
The post is passing in front of the horn , which does not affect the rf waves . The end of the post is placed directly over the laser sensor , so the infrared beam is entering the top of the post and directing the optical signal .Try any clear plastic , put a light at one edge and observes at the other edge : light... :idea:Quote:

Guys I'm pretty sure that is a V1 version 1.7, those had the laser sensor underneath the rear horn antenna:
