hey guys i have a uniden pro520 now but my new car its a ***** to make it work. so i would like to get a Cobra 75WXST
seems to have the basic **** we need.
my question is it reliable radio?
and the external speaker jack same as the pro520?
i like to continue to use the uniden external non amplified speaker if i can
Well the unreliable-ness I've heard of with them boils down to the speaker that is built into the microphone, so the external speaker is almost a must. Jack for it is the same, it'll be located on the junction box. No P&T for the 75s but for countermeasure purposes that's not an issue. Put it up with a good antenna and it should be a decent performer. Dual watch might be a nice feature, and the sound tracker is a worthless feature best left off unless you're talking to another radio that also has the sound tracker on.Quote:
