Upgrade from 995 to STi-R?

I'm contemplating the purchase of an sti-r to replace my aging Vector 995. How is the performance difference? Is it like night and day? Not that noticeable? I'm pretty satisfied with my 995, but am looking for something stealthy, and may as well get better performance at the same time. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes. The performance is like night and day. The Bel STi-r will blow away your 995 on all radar bands. I would upgrade. Check out these test results:

Thanks for the information, sounds like this is definitely a no brainer.

If you can get the STI-R, get it. The performance of the 940, 955, 965, 995 are not even comparable to it. I've had a 955 and 965 which have identical performance to your 995 and now I have the STI-R. Wouldn't trade the STI-R for any other detector, never ceases to amaze me.
