You can get a Ka-band warning if you're tailing a cop IF:
1. He has a rear antenna. (not all systems do)
2. His radar is turned on (or turned on in the rear)
Make sure X-band is turned on since you're in NJ.
Probably just a matter of time until you'll catch something.

The LEO doesn't turn on his radar until he sees you. If this is the case, you might want to start using rabbits more often.

thanks for the reply! haha and i meant good thing as in good thing I haven't encountered it (knock on wood) but normally I slow down before I see a potential trap no matter what.

But theres always that one time man, u dont wanna be a victim of that one time.....Laser Jammers are the only protection you have against laser. The good part about states switching over to laser is if you have a good LJ and is installed properly ......almost all the tickets can be avoided if done right except a few.

Since you said you drive the parkway and route 78 everyday I am assuming you live in the central part of New Jersey?...Hunterdon/ Union/ Mercer/ Somerset Counties?
If this is the case, then maybe it is different as far as enforcement goes around there because I live up in Passaic County and its almost guaranteed that I will encounter something once or twice a week, mostly a LEO just driving around with C/O or parked in the shoulder. Either that or the LEO's by you are running I/O or Laser which is a good possibility. I have encountered laser a few times driving down to South Jersey, but I know better than to play games with the PSL on the Parkway, especially in the summertime...when they try to catch all the vacationers.

Yes Central Jersey haha. But funny I went back to this, I was driving on the parkway and the trooper was running C/O Ka! first time i've ran into a trooper with C/O, and since i posted this I have passed troopers with their laser gun out the window.. but they seem to be very paticular of who they choose to get.
