Laser Interceptor versions
I thought this should be a sticky:
Generation 6:
6.09: the 07 GOL version
6.12: Added NJL SCS-102
6.14: Stalker LZ-1 II (new model >2004) eliminate E-04 code
6.15: Stalker LZ-1 I (old model <2004) further tuned for perfection, i.e E-04 further reduced
6.20:
6.21:
6.22T: Added TruSpeed to old REV CPUs (pre. 7.0), those CPUs are without XR algo!
Generation 7:
7.01: Added Robot TraffiPatrol XR
7.02: Minor bugfix
7.03: Added Riegl FG21-P
7.04: Fixed Riegl LR90-235/P
7.05: Added LTI 20.20 TruSpeed
7.06: Fixed LTI 20.20 TruSpeed voice
7.07:
7.08:
7.09: Added TSS Laser 500 voice only
7.10: Added LTI 20.20 TruSpeed 2 (TS EU), tuned TraffiPatrol XR algo
7.11: Added detection of section control
Generation 8: (New Bootloader and Live Update)
8.00: Added Traffic Observer LMS 291/221/04/05/06, PoliScan speed by VITRONIC (Nestor), TSS Laser 500 and UNIPAR SL700
8.01: LED Bug Fix
8.02: Welcome sound instead of "Welcome" message. AGC (Auto Gain Control) implemented for receiver part.
REV 2.7: The first HW revision
REV 2.8: Older HW (XR ver., need to open CPU and change some parts in order to connect V1 to LI)
REV 2.9: New HW (Capable of V1-LI comm, without opening CPU and soldering)
Sensor hardware version:
8.0, 8.1: the same thing
8.2: XR enabled
8.5: Minor changes and small bugfix
8.7: Minor HW change for improved performance
Warning: XR jam enabled requires hardware modification, thus 8.2. together with CPU >= v7.01

It would be interesting for some of us if there were timelines (dates) included for the revisions...........just to know over what period the hardware has evolved. It would provide a clue as to the rate of evelolution we might expect in the future.
Just a thought.......

All of these Versions and Revisions have happened in just the nearly two years that I have been associated with The Company with the Gen. 6 all occurring about 12 months before.
With that said, one cannot really judge the evolution of our product using time as a measure but rather, and more appropriately, how quickly new LIDAR threats such as the TruSpeed (US and EURO Versions) and known issues, the water intrusion of the sensors of LI's early adopters, were addressed.

Thanks Cliff,
I am fairly new to the jammer scene......only within the past year. I was guessing that you and LI had been one of the pioneers of the product and speculated that the product likely evolved over a number of years.
I was already impressed by you personally aside from the obvious technical aspects of the product. Now that I know that you and LI have only been involved it this market in the US for less than two years, I am far more impressed than I already was.
I also recognize that marketing is the crucial element of success for any product, even if it's the greatest product on the planet. Lousy marketing will sink anything, regardless of how good it may be. You are demonstrating every element of a superb marketing plan including the high level of customer support.
Thank you for a work in process and a job well done. I am among your supporters.

Re: Laser Interceptor versions
I just got back from some Cisco training and was amazed to see the news.
Great having an LI sub forum.
No encounters with my LI 8 yet, and it's been 5 months.
Cheers!
TFF.
Re: Laser Interceptor versions
an Li subforum was definitely needed. clif how is it that with every single technological advancement (in fact in nearly everything) that's it's been the US, germany or japan that have developed the products and have taken the lead --- but not with laser interceptors. how is it that a company out of croatia has cornered this market?
Re: Laser Interceptor versions
I don't think we have cornered the market. As to the second part, I will have to defer to Laser Interceptor's Designer, Ivan, to answer that question. :)
Cliff.
Re: Laser Interceptor versions
is the ability to recognize being shot on the fornt/rear a future feature?
